Our Mission

Saving a Piece of the Past

Founded in 2017, The Huntingdon Valley Cemetery and Chapel Company (“HVCCC”) is committed to preserving this historic Cemetery and Chapel, gardening and maintaining its grave sites, and repairing and preserving the Chapel building. The required Chapel structural repairs and Cemetery maintenance had been deferred for more than 20 years.

Our Mission

A Rich History

Built in the 1840’s

The Huntingdon Valley Chapel was built in the 1840's as a one-room schoolhouse. It sits at the corner of Welsh Road and Washington Lane, a road that dates back to the Revolutionary War. For nearly a century, The Huntingdon Valley Cemetery and Chapel have played an important part in the lives of our families and our community.
